The Grounds
Juniper and native desert landscaping. The property is intentionally underplanted so the surroundings do the talking. Stone paths connect a series of patios: communal, semi-private, and the kind you can have entirely to yourself with a book at 4 PM.

The grounds at Arroyo Pinion are designed for the in-between hours. A heated pool that stays open all winter. A round fire pit lit nightly at dusk. A pergola lounge for unhurried afternoons.
Far enough off 89A that you'll hear juniper in the breeze instead of traffic, close enough that coffee is a four-minute walk. The kind of outdoor space that lets the trip slow down on its own.
The Pool
Sedona winters drop into the 30s, our pool doesn't. Heated year-round to 84°F, it's the most-used spot on the property from November through March. Travertine deck, shaded loungers, umbrellas in summer, and a fresh-towel hamper available poolside throughout the day.

The Fire Pit
Lit at dusk every night, year-round. A circle of low chairs around a wide stone hearth, with Capitol Butte glowing in the background as the sun drops. S'mores kits at the front desk. BYO whisky. This is where strangers become trip-friends.

The Pergola & Lounge
A long cedar pergola runs the length of the pool deck, draped in soft string lights that come on at dusk. Underneath: a row of chaise loungers in the morning, dinner for six in the evening. Most guests don't book the patio, they just drift here and stay until the sky turns indigo.
